Are Mall Check-In Rules The Same Everywhere?
No. Delivery appointments, insurance approval, inspections, badges, truck dimensions and handling equipment vary by property and tenant. Check the dated source and scope in the profile. Event-vendor or construction rules may differ from routine store deliveries. Public shopping hours do not establish receiving hours.
What Is DockReview?
DockReview brings together shipper and receiver information to help drivers and owner operators prepare for a pickup or delivery. Profiles combine available public sources, facility instructions and moderated driver contributions.
Which Types Of Facilities Can I Find?
Search malls, shopping centers, outlet centers, distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturers, cold storage, freight forwarders, airline cargo stations, rail yards, ports, military installations, commissaries, exchanges and other freight destinations. Directory coverage varies by company and facility type.
Why Do Results Say In DockReview Or Found On Map?
In DockReview means the location already has a profile in the directory. Found On Map means an external map search found a location that has not yet been added. Select a map result to add the correct facility. Neither label means every operational detail has been verified; check the profile sources and dates.
How Do I Find The Right Location?
Enter the company or facility name, then narrow the search with a state, city, street address or ZIP Code. Check the full address before opening a profile, especially when a company has multiple locations. More search options let you filter by facility type.
What If A Facility Is Missing?
Use the available map search options to look for the location beyond the saved directory. Where an importable map match is available, select the correct location to add it. You can also use the facility submission option. Map coverage can be incomplete, so verify the address.
What Will A Facility Profile Tell Me?
Where documented, profiles show hours, contacts, check-in instructions, truck entrances, credentials, PPE, parking, restroom access and nearby fuel or parking. Unknown means the detail has not been established; it does not mean the service is unavailable.
Are Listed Hours Always Shipping Or Receiving Hours?
No. General business or store hours can differ from freight receiving and shipping hours. Profiles identify the kind of hours when the source provides it. Confirm your appointment and freight hours directly before dispatch.
How Do Driver Reviews Work?
Open the facility profile to read available driver reviews or write your own. Sign in to contribute a rating from 1 to 5 stars, comments, detention time and driver treatment. Contributions are moderated before publication, and each driver contributes one current rating per location.
What Counts As Detention Time Here?
DockReview uses total time onsite, including waiting, loading and unloading, for driver detention reports. This helps other drivers plan. It does not determine billable detention, free time or compensation under a carrier, broker or shipper agreement.
Can I Update Missing Or Incorrect Information?
Yes. Open the profile and choose Update Location Information. Report what you actually observed, include the observation date and add a public supporting source where available. Updates are reviewed before they appear. Different driver observations may be shown as mixed reports.
Do Military, Airport And Rail Locations Have Different Requirements?
They can. Review the location’s documented credentials, access screening, escort, PPE and freight requirements. Requirements depend on the location and shipment; a TWIC card or another credential is not automatically required at every airport or rail facility. Confirm access with the receiving office or dispatch.
Does A Map Link Show The Truck Entrance Or A Safe Truck Route?
An address map link may point to the property rather than its truck gate. Use documented truck entrance and dispatch instructions where available, and confirm restrictions before arrival. Nearby listings may use straight-line distance, which differs from driving miles.
Does Listed Parking Guarantee Overnight Permission?
No. Parking availability, overnight permission, fees and access can change. Confirm directly with the facility or truck-stop operator. A nearby fuel or parking listing does not establish permission to stage at the shipper or receiver.
How Reliable Is The Information?
Check each profile’s sources and dates. Published information and driver reports help you prepare, but conditions can change by shift, appointment or shipment. Confirm critical access requirements directly. Driver reviews describe individual experiences and do not establish facility policy.
What Should I Leave Out Of A Review?
Keep reviews factual and specific to your visit. Do not post shipment identifiers, VINs, private contact information, personal documents or accusations about individuals. Describe what happened, when you visited and what another driver should know.
